A. Zhukov, Ph.D. & Associates was established by Alexander Zhukov, M. Eng., Ph.D., who is an Automotive Engineer with 30+ books and publications and more than twenty-five years of Automotive Engineering & Traffic Accident Reconstruction experience.

Dr. Alexander Zhukov has extensive training and background in a variety of technical areas dealing with automotive and analogous product design and performance. Prior to performing the Motor Vehicle & Traffic Accident Reconstruction activities, he worked on the staffs of automobile manufacturers in component design, manufacture and testing.

He developed and authored more than 10 methods of accident reconstruction, including:

• determination of vehicle collision velocities
• time and distance analysis
• vehicle deceleration parameters
• technical feasibility of crash avoidance

Dr. Alexander Zhukov has conducted a wide variety of highway safety research projects for the insurance industry while working at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (Arlington, VA).

Dr. Alexander Zhukov holds Masters and Doctoral degrees in Automotive Engineering and Motor Vehicle & Highway Safety. He is an internationally recognized expert with professional memberships in the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and National Association of Professional Accident Reconstruction Specialists (NAPARS).

During his career as an accident reconstructionist, he has acted as a technical engineering expert in more than 2,500 vehicle crash cases involving mechanical failure, human error, defective manufacture or maintenance of motor vehicles or automotive tires; deposed and testified in trials approximately 200 times; qualified in accident reconstruction and crashworthiness issues.
